Wendy

Now that my recital is over and I am back home again I am going to jump into this with new energy and enthusiasm! I gained 5 lbs over the last 4 months. I was not exercising or paying much attention to my diet. Just trying to servive. I need to figure out how to handle those really busy, stressful months of my life without ballooning up.
Taun and I have made a goal to look like Hot Mama's next June when we go the the Miss Utah pagent to watch McKenna.
I weigh 152 this week!

Tessha's Two in a Row

I weighed in on Mon with a 1.25 lb loss, so this week I'm working towards my "three-in-a-row." While it sounds great, I've actually been undoing what I put on during a cruise back in Dec. I seem to make a little progress and then go out of town returning 1-2 lbs heavier and then I have to take it off all over again.

In both 2008 & 2009 I averaged a net loss of about 15 lbs over the course of each year.

It's July and I'm still working for this year's net loss. I'm trying to move forward and not get hung up on being "behind" where I'd expected to be. There is still more year left.

Overall, my health is much better. I haven't had a multi-week crash in three months, which makes my heart sing with joy. Now that summer is here I've started walking in the evenings and that truly is wonderful!

Tessha's Update

I was in WA for most of June visiting James and Elizabeth, along with Will and Jenni's family. We had a family reunion on the Olympic Peninsula, which was WONDERFUL. This is picture of where we stayed. Mom even kayaked!
Everyone was able to come with exception to Daniel's family. They are in Baltimore with a newborn and thought it best not to fly.
I ended up "turtling," which is what my TOPS group calls no loss, no gain. There was plenty of junk food and I know there was a week where I was not managing my in-take properly. I'm wondering if I should pack a scale next time. I'm used to weighing in the mornings.
