The HCG Diet

So I really needed an extra weight loss boost. Losing 1 lb a week and running my rear off was killing me. I was going to take over McKenna's classes and had to lose weight fast! (They're used to looking at her skinny rear dancing around NOT mine.)

So I researched Dr. Simeon's original HCG Diet and read his paper, "Pounds and Inches". It really made sense after reading it. It is not a way of life or eating, but a scientific approach to losing "abnormal fat" and "reseting" your pituitary gland. So I bought the drops on Amazon and went for it!

I started on June 3rd and have lost about a pound a day since. I started at 157 and am now 146. I have gone down 9% body fat. Wahoo. It is soooo hard (only 500 cals) and takes a lot of self-control. But, to me, it is worth it. I'm staying optimistic that the weight will stay off....but I'll keep you posted. Once I'm down to my goal weight, I'll use they bodybugg and weights to tone up and maintain.

  1. I've got three friends on it. Darci lost 30 lbs on round one and her mom lost 20 plus. They've moved on to the maintainance for a few weeks.

    500 calories sounds tough but they said it wasn't too bad.
