Ok, so I splurged and bought a Bodybugg. It has been so interesting to see how much my body is actually burning. I am hopeful that this will be the extra edge I need to get me to my goal.
Wahoooooo! I didn't lose much until I bought mine. YES it is worth the money! Weight loss is burning more than you eat. Well how on earth can you accurately tell how much you're burning? Bodybugg! With the BodyBugg I stopped worrying if I'd ever lose the weight - I now KNOW how to lose weight. It's just a matter of staying motivated to do the work. My baby is out of the hospital now and I'm starting a new "program" on bodybugg. Brit I'm so excited for you (can you tell?) so this is going to be long.
I'm eating 1400 and burning 2400 everyday = 2 lbs loss a week.
When you enter in the info for the foods you can't find put your initials in the title. It'll be easy for you to find next time.
If you "cheat" it doesn't really matter as long as you accurately log the calories and don't go over your limit(eat 3 oreos or eat a 4 oz chicken breast - it's about the same to burn off). BUT the healthy choices give you more energy to get a higher burn.
Log everything you eat! Calorie info is usually 10-15% inaccurate, so I always round up when I measure.
A steady jog on 4 or 5 on the treadmill gives me my highest burn.
You can only enter in your weight once a week, so choose your weigh-in day and enter your current weight on that day. Only weigh once a week (trust me!)
The message boards on the site are very helpful.
Try to get a high burn everyday and you'll chisel those lbs off. With BodyBugg you're in complete control - you hit your burn goal or don't. You eat you cal limit - or exceed it. YOU'RE GOING TO ROCK!
Call me if you have questions or need help! (I'd say good luck, but with Bodybugg luck isn't involved - just commitment!)
Oh, one more thing. When it's that time of the month, cut way back on your sodium, watch out for cravings, then IGNORE your weigh-in number. If you're hitting your deficit (cals burned - cals in) you're weight will "catch up" the NEXT weigh-in.
What's a bodybugg? Is it worth the money? I'll have to look into gettting one.
ReplyDeleteCool! Good for you, I'm glad you splurged on yourself!
